Biography of Marcy Bishop
My name is Marcy Bishop, I ‘am 18 years old and I live in Bladenboro, North Carolina. I graduated from West Bladen High School in 08 and I ‘am currently attending Bladen Community College to get my associates in the fine arts. I love to paint, shop, travel, go to the movies, read magazines and go to the beach.
My life revolves around art. Art has always played a large part in my life. Even in kindergarten I would always try to make something different from everyone else. I have taken art throughout middle school and high school. During this time I received various art awards and prize money for my pieces. I had my first art show when I was a freshman in high school. I was also voted most artistic in my senior year of high school, which meant a lot to me. In the future I plan to move to NYC and live my dream.
My humble beginnings started when I started working at CiCi’s pizza, painting faces. I saved my money and I had the option of either buying a car or taking a trip to Europe. Of course I chose the car but the next year I had saved enough money from working at my new job, Outback Steakhouse, to pay for the trip of a lifetime to London, Paris, and Rome. This trip was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. It opened my eyes to a whole new world.
As you can see art has led my life into the direction of so many opportunities and I pray that there will be more in my future. I love art and I know God will make a way for me to be successful and happy.
